Got my reolink video doorbell from Amazon de Only quickly tested but seems very good for the money. See no reason it won't work with BluIris. Will use the supplied chimer for now - but once I get zigbee stuff sorted will have it trigger my own method for chime. Not installed it at my door yet as wish to be a bit more convinced before I do that.

Right (expletive deleted) it ! order a trv with an Allen key fitting so it can grip the pin fitting rather than trying to screw over it . Rubbish forum - would like a refund .

MVHR ducting disconnected
Pocster replied to Keno's topic in Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR)
That truly is a right pita to fix ! - I wouldnβt fancy that ; be too busy swearing tbh . Good on you though π -
Tbh SE software is rather dodgy Iβm not sure I trust them controlling my battery . Iβve signed up ( as you can easily opt out ) . Let others try it first β¦β¦ π

No ! Just flushing an empty loo max db π

Iβm going to use my phones decibels measuring app at discreet points along the pipe ( mainly where wc enters ) . Get some readings before and after lagging .
-
Yeah itβs probably the best . Shipping was a flat rate of Β£15 . I went for it in the end . 6m ; 114mm pipe ; 50mm thickness
-
Give up looking for now ! ffs !
-
Maybe ? https://thermalinsulationonline.co.uk/shop/pipe-section/rockwool-pipe-insulation-sections/ It is in essence just rockwool ( so no sound spec ) but saves boxing in.....
-
π minor point! - website is (expletive deleted)ed anyway! ; I can't order even if I wanted too. I'll keep looking!
-
Right! https://insulationandlagging.co.uk/Acoustic-Insulation/Acoustic-Insualtion-Pipe-Wrap/Acoustilag-Acoustic-Pipe-Lagging With sensible delivery cost. I need 6m ; but 1 roll does 4.8m around a 110mm pipe - so I'll need to stretch it a bit. Maybe acoustic lag mainly at junctions of pipes?
-
Cheaper product but delivery 60quid! Used https://www.temati.com/calculators/surface-pipe-sqm/ to work out quantity!
-
@Thorfun Looking at this https://flooringwarehousedirect.co.uk/product/superlag-superflex-prime-acoustic-lagging-wrap-silver-foil-2m-x-1-2m/?attribute_pa_thickness=50mm&attribute_density=5kg+per%2Fm2&gclid=Cj0KCQiA2-2eBhClARIsAGLQ2Rk8JXCzfhgnG6b7cpO6tOPwrcM4EI2DXXJafnb3c8lzBk1hU4e1VzcaAmWREALw_wcB Not sure of delivery costs yet!!!

@Thorfun Spoke to a few companies and decided to go for this: https://www.soundstop.co.uk/ZTECFT55.php

Flue installed but wonβt be used . Currently a nice hole in the beam and block . Was going to cram some pir in there and foam it . That ok ? Donβt want bco seeing the stack and then complaining I havenβt sealed it correctly. Or is there a better ( proper ! ) way to do this ?
-
-
So was aids
-
Yeah ; I wonder that at first . Cheap n easy ! - might try that first . Itches your face like (expletive deleted) when installing though , yes ?
