Well that is good to hear. My experience has been that they have been difficult to deal with, I could not get the online part to work. They often want to send out a salesperson but I had issues getting prices. I would like to use them, as they have a branch near me but they are not easy to do business with.

If you have a 50mm layer of rockwool compressed under the sheets it helps a lot, but you would need to take the sheets off and refit.

The bricks you have shown do not look standard size of 215 x 100 x 65 they look longer or not as high. There are quite a few foreign bricks non-standard sizes. The proper lime mortar looks good. I would be tempted to get local clay stock bricks as anything imported can have a fair lead time and delivery charges.

With the roof tile vent you don't need flashings but you need the right vent for your tiles. They have a flexi connector.

Timber frame stick built with mineral wool insulation and 18mm OSB internal sheathing. External cladding of your choice. Strong, simple, lightweight and cost effective. Pitched roof would be my preference.

We have used the Kytun Ali trims on natural slate. No issues with slate / slate and a half.

I have not used this one but have been able to get an email address to send Build Zone documents in the past, as at the time their portal had file size limits. Call them and ask what they suggest.
