  1. when you fancy an "upgrade" ill take that off your hands. Some bstard stole mine and they don't make them anymore
  2. Unfortunately i can't find the invoice, so I must not have bought it from eBay but it was something along these lines http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HEAVY-DUTY-DRAPER-20498-600W-ELECTRIC-HAMMER-DRILL-VARIABLE-SPEED-IMPACT-DRIVER-/262389170560?hash=item3d179d0180:g:-YEAAOSw9j1XEU96 maybe it was £30..... maybe it was on offer but i essentially bought the cheapest 240v drill i could find,
  3. +1 to dave, but if not I bought a cheap draper one, £20 IIRC works fine for the amount i use it (virtually never)
  4. convince him that you could sell it afterwards. I hear that one a lot around here
  5. ideally it would be disguised as a mirror
  6. your on
  7. 12 month timescale I don't think he is referring to what I consider a "self build"
  8. I turned hay on a 135 for most of my childhood. I can still remember the old man shouting that I don't NEED to turn on a sixpence at full speed at the end of every row. ?
  9. thats the kiddy, I spent a good 6 hrs on the beast and i don't think i managed to get more than 2 turns right/smooth, weather i should have been using the clutch or the brake it didn't matter i would pull/press the wrong one pulling the mole was fine as thats when you just use the clutches to keep straight, But at the ends you have to clutch, brake, and pull the mole out all at the same time..... bit too much for my little monkey brain to get to grips with.
  10. Nice work, Proppa bit of kit, the biggest bit of kit iv ever had control of was a CAT D6, crazy setup, had a similar hand throttle but then 2 clutches and 2 "hand" brakes. I was mole draining on it and i could have done with changing my pants every time i had to turn it at the ditch end
  11. ahh if it was a push along you were not SO lucky, its the ride along ones that have a fairly good chance of landing on you, same with the little skip loading dumpers, and believe it or not they are too heavy to push of yourself. Never done it myself but i have heard some pretty nasty stories from the old guys at work
  12. Lucky to walk away from that one. I take it you didn't have a seat belt on? and yes we clearly need pictures.
  13. Lol. It was a full on scam but don't worry amazon has refunded me. Now I'm just winding up the scammer. For some reason he doesn't seem willing to send the saw and let me transfer him the money afterwards ?. Good thing is I nearly recommended that my boss buy it. And there is a good chance he would have just sent him the money.
  14. I assume it will be flagging the links in the email i copied across from my junk folder, I haven't clicked any of them, but i very much doubt they will lead to an actual Amazon help centre..
  15. nothing annoys me more than people coming and asking me questions before they have even tried to work it out for themselves. My governor is a prime example, he will be on the phone asking every tradesman he knows within seconds of coming up against an issue, then again i did have to go and sort a door lining out for him on friday and TBH i wish he had never even started I suppose i can't have it both ways,
  16. He is still trying ? Supposedly he is "waiting". I'm tempted to tell him there is a £30 charge for me to send him the funds so if he could send me that first I will release the funds.......
  17. iv forwarded it all to stop-spoofing@amazon.com ill see what they say is the best course of action, Thanks again everyone
  18. thanks guys, I have hidden/deleted the address, question is do I need to wait until the item "doesnt" arrive before i report it? or do i "cancel" it now?

Search your inbox carefully and also check your bulk/spam/junk folder because it might have arrived there. Please let me know asap.Thank you! ----------------- So i replied Yes i did get the “auto confirm” email from amazon *insert screenshot of confirmation email* Assuming this is all cleared up I am happy to just wait for the package. It was just the “email you first” part that confused me. as long as i receive what was advertised on or around the projected delivery date i will happily give you top feedback all the best Ed --------------------------- the funny thing is i have also just received another email into my junk folder of this Order Confirmation Hello, Thank you for shopping with us. Amazon Marketplace but this was sent from support@amazon-az-marketplace.com don't worry I am not going to be sending any money anywhere lets see how he responds..... I have given up hiding my address (its not to hard to find anyway) I'm getting more sceptical by the minute note the order number is different, the sellers name is different, the payment method is different, the delivery timescale is different and so is the item description..... i'm going to have fun with this.
  20. I do like a bit of FFX. but they are a similar price to anglia tools ATM £126 INC just for the rails bag and connectors https://www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Makita-5440940-2-5055945202106-Pack-Of-2-1.4M-Guide-Rails-With-Connectors-And-Bag
  21. TBH i have already got 1 rail and a bag so i don't actually need the whole Kit, But for £191 INC it is a slightly unbelievable price, I have been googling it most of this evening Funnily enough Anglia tools is kind of where i would have bought it from otherwise as i think they are in partnership with Ridgeons (my local BM) this is their comparative Kit https://www.angliatoolcentre.co.uk/makita-sp6000k1-165mm-circular-plunge-saw-240v-kit-pid43897.html
  22. not without putting it through work. I mean i could if i really wanted to put the effort in but I'm not self employed anymore so its just a hassle ATM
  23. thats only 1 rail, no bag or connectors and is £280 INC
  24. with 2 rails? I Will be impressed if you can find me a link the rails are over £50 each. the connectors and bag are both about £30 so as far as i can see ill be getting the saw for about £31 if all goes well and it turns out not to be a scam edit: this is assuming i get 2 connectors like my friends kit came with, There about £13 each ish
  25. cool, I assume they must have a fairly robust returns/claims policy as they are such a big company but i have just never had to use it with them. Im half waiting for an email from a fake amazon account asking for me to pay for the item again, at which point i will report the seller. then again it may all turn out fine, Im not going to be hasty but it all just sounds a bit dodgy to me, also doesn't help that i can't find the package anywhere for less than £350 so £191 is a bit too much of a discount for me not to be suspicious, I suppose i will have to wait and see. If it does turn up as advertised I will be a very happy boy
