  1. I thought "Wall Hung Mini" was a Chinese girl. There was someone on here that was fitting an internal ASHP that only required two largish holes through the wall. Can't for the life of me find the post now.
  2. This is all you need, an app. And lots of babies from different mothers. https://www.calculator.net/height-calculator.html
  3. Missed that bit. Many local authorities have there own experts. Place called Tremorvah is Cornwall's. Slight disclaimer, I worked there one summer.
  4. My Father had a stair lift fitter. Have shinned myself on it many times. Horrible things, and noisy, especially in a power cut. Probably cheaper to make a shower room and lavatory down stairs and then find room for a bedroom.
  5. I would like to get that, so send it to me. Can tell them I have an open fire.
  6. Same tape measure my Father had. Not sure if he ever knew I had taken in, sometime in the 1970s.
  7. Worth checking, may be as simple as a loose wire. Wasn't me. But worth looking at, probably not that complicated once the lid is off. I do seem to remember that the early ones had problems with them, and the boards they were connected to.
  8. So it is not going to affect small time landlords?
  9. Is it someone that rents a home out to an unemployed person, or do they have to manage several homes. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/social-housing-managers-must-be-qualified-under-new-laws-to-protect-residents
  10. Is that why my tip is red? (doubt this post will be here in the morning)
  11. While waiting for the Archers to start.
  12. And probably British as she seems to be pear shaped. Just imagine if you waned a career in modelling, walking the catwalk with Naomi and Kate. Then you get a job for British Wool.
  13. Yes, and it cost us a fortune when they decided to heat the Jubilee Pool with geothermal energy. They still claim it is, but I had a heat pump. May as well have fitted a WSHP as all the plumbing is already there. I would have to look at my old text books, but seem to remember that radioactive decay gives out very little energy, on average. Something like 60 to 100 mW/m² at the Earth's surface. Solar is 250W/m² on average. So all but a tiny fraction of a percent is solar energy in a domestic geothermal installation. Like hydrogen in the universe, there is a lot of radioactive decay in the Earth. Just that nearly all of it is not accessible.
  14. Piece of piss.
  15. Not something as simple as a tripped MCB?
  16. Do you know what he would be doing now, if he was still alive? Scratching his way out of a grave.
  17. Mine have been cancelled.
  18. It is better than red according to @Radian
  19. Feck, where was he when I got our flat roof GRP'd? Don't know, may have been in Weymouth.
  20. That has to be sorted first. Then look and deal with the fraudsters.
  21. Not as simple as that if Denominator is a variable.
  22. Have a word with @craig, he gives good advice.
