Andehh
Get a bigger TV and centralise it by shifting it left?? Prob not be much more once you've removed, patched and repainted the wall and then drank £200 of wine to forget the mess you've made of it!
Eric
Tiles look good, will they just fill up of dirt though?
Dan1983
Moved it around and slightly better in this orientation
Dan1983
You can hoover over the tuff tiles and it seems to give enough of a vac to pull any dirt off the floor so easy to clean really Looks like I can chop and re weld the tv mount worst case to make the last arm shorter. Still not sure what I was thinking when I mounted it before boarding! Will see what it looks like once work bench is in on that back wall. Thinking about using kitchen units, chopped at the back so it can ride over the oak and sit back against the wall then 2.5-3m oak worktop and a vice (would be used for light work only) Or buy a proper toolbox/ chest then mount an oak worktop on with overhang at the rear to bridge the gap
Dan1983
Next job was to get a eucalyptus tree removed as had concerns in high winds Will also allow us to get the hedge in across that side of the garden
Mr Punter
I am pleased you removed that. I think they are awful and quickly grow much too large for the average garden. Best left to the Aussies.

I'm not a fan. Is that worse than larch and spruce here? I will have to think about that.
Dan1983
Yes been a worry for a while now! I don't think the tree was even that old maybe 40 years max Just starting to split the wood now as surprisingly makes good fire wood Just need to get the stump ground now
Dan1983
Got most of the wood split that I want, stump being ground Thursday!
Dan1983
Finally just about finished the work benches in the garage, just need to make some plinths up around the bottom and paint them matte black! Was trying to sort some benches/ storage at not silly money just for extra storage and light work etc They are 2.46m wide so decent size All in both benches have been done for £700 Units are not the best and were a pain to build! Ah yes that explains a lot - it seems that you were, before you lost it, using a drill for driving screws.
