One last thing we may do is add a triangular cut of oak sleeper as the levels drop down to soften the look of the RSJ

Been away for a week but guys are cracking on with the patio and doing a great job!

Decided on offset bond rather than brick bond, really pleased with it.

My choice to break bond behind the garage as won’t be seen and saves me some slabs/ losing more of the garden to keep bond (retaining wall would have to have been further back)

Gone for mid grey grout and will use a similar colour for the decorative stones between slabs and sleepers (stones as allows sleepers to move a little and didn’t want any cuts along the back edge!
