Hey

Bought some of these off eBay ( probably my first mistake ) . Get a nice fireworks display but very little cutting !

Someone kindly direct me to some 115mm discs that will glide through 3mm galvanised.....

cheers in advance

Those discs that PeterW has suggested will cut much better as they are much thinner - be careful when cutting anything galvanised, it is toxic.

Thanks !

Not sure why my eBay “metal cutting” discs did very little ?

That big long name with the spanner sticking out each side would be a clue.

I couldn’t believe how something so flimsy looking would cut through steel like butter

Been using something similar but even thinner.....  It’s just like a hack saw cut. Great find. The ones Peter recommends look even better, will order some when I run out.

The Rhodius 1mm ones from Toolstation are good.

Even better Abracs Proflex. You won't go back. I've been chopping up steel for 35 years.
