Onoff Posted July 31, 2022 Author Posted July 31, 2022 (edited) A stainless steel, 10mm plate, this for mounting my gate motor. The thin galvanised one that came with it offended me and has bloody great holes for slugs etc to get up inside. It'll slip over the 3" drainpipe all the cables and ducts are in. It'll also support the cast motor frame over it's whole area. Drilling the 70mm hole was fun. Edited July 31, 2022 by Onoff 2
Onoff Posted August 3, 2022 Author Posted August 3, 2022 TPU grommets for my gate photocells, just to keep the creepy crawlies out. The one a couple of inches along was an oversize trial: Again for the photocell wiring, revisiting the WAGO holders in light grey PLA. A 3/3/3: For the 8-way FAKO though, the WAGO holder model needs tweaking. This one's a bit loose:
Onoff Posted August 4, 2022 Author Posted August 4, 2022 The 8-way FAKO is still a tad looser than I'd like it to be, but it'll do. Got a 12mm wide strip above, for a label:

The clip with the two on, in the last picture will just be 3M double sided taped or CT1'd to the RH side wall of the plastic enclosure. I like to keep all the penetrations in the bottom.

No good, the "plate" with the two connectors on is going halfway up the enclosure side. All will be revealed soon...my soon! 😂 Edited August 4, 2022 by Onoff

Extra mark if the cable markers are not clip on!

Onoff Posted August 4, 2022 Author Posted August 4, 2022 Not the most weather proof of things, these photocells. I'm wondering if giving both sides of the PCB a spray with some conformal coating / laquer will help prolong their life? 1
Pocster Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 This glory hole doorbell better be worth 27 pages !!
