Barney12
Big day today. Scaffold finally down. I’ve still got a few outside jobs which I’m going to have to do off my tower, just couldn’t justify any more weeks hire! Still soooooo much to do Edited January 5, 2018 by Barney12

Barney12
Thanks guys, I’m just waiting for the first person to complain to the National Park It’s probably the most contemporary looking building built round here that I know of and I must admin it looks pretty bloody bold from the open moor. The brise soleil which are being installed across the front to create the Juliet balconies and help with shading will soften it further (they’ll be in cedar to match the dormer cladding) and I guess once the landscaping is done that will help bed it in a bit. But, in the mean time someone will complain
Visti
Nonsense, looks great! People need to get used to a bit more variety in the buildings!
Onoff
How come it's not black like the bat cave & chicken coop?

My planning conditions state that all timber must be dark brown or black and render must be ‘of a neutral tone’. I’ll get round to it at some point but I’d quite like to see how the cedar weathers to grey first (it’s coated with Sioo:x). Or of course I may forget.
