Conor Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Been tracking my generation. We've produced more this April than any other month in 2024. And by the end of today, it will be the third best month overall in the last four years. Good to see but the lack of rain is a tad worrying.
JohnMo Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Our April is our best month since recording - about 20% better than any month last year. But no rain, any rain we have had has been a short shower.
ProDave Posted April 30 Posted April 30 For us April and early May is best. The leaves on the trees now are filling in and the shading then caps our generation for the rest of the summer. Off to my boast shortly hopefully for another lovely day on the water.
BotusBuild Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Looks like the water meter bills will be lower as well after they impose hosepipe bans 🙂

In fact, when I went to Bodmin Moor to pick up some MVHR pipework on Easter Friday, it was torrential.

We should have had 310mm of rain by now, it's just 220mm so far. Still, a long way off drought conditions fortunately.

In March we had only 10mm total, and in April we made up for it and had 122mm, although most of that fell between the 15th and 19th. Our total for the year so far is 358mm, don't know how that compares to the average for North Cornwall.
