Have not listened yet, but would think it very difficult to do.  Unless you really like vegetables and do not mind having the same thing most days.  It would be hard work!  Looking forward to listening to it. 😃

It is as you described, which I think is the point of the show.

Just listened right through. I loved it: very high welfare meat. I’d love to try to be self sufficient, but I’m not disciplined enough. Permaculture is a nice idea, to allow wildlife and ‘foraging’ on your own patch rather than manicured lawns.

We have grown a lot of fruit and veg at a previous gaff where we had a lot of land to utilise. It was almost a full time job in itself. Makes you realise how hard life was back when this was how most people really lived and how a lot of people still live. You’re one bad crop away from starvation.

During the pandemic we had trouble with pasta and bog rolls.

We really do need to have a word with ourselves in the UK.

I couldn't get mine to grow either.

Coffee spurting out my nose,  cornflakes blown everywhere , dog looking decidedly worried, cats scattered in shock. Not all bad though. SWMBO is already cleaning the floor, the table and the milk splatters from the window. Dentists later today to replace the bridge that's now stuck at an uncomfortable angle.

 

Good start to the day.

 

PS the bridge popped itself back into place. This is a GOOD Monday morning.
