Adsibob Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Wheelbarrow left on outdoor porcelain patio tiles for about 10 days. Quite a bit of rain. Wheelbarrow has finally been moved and now there are patches of rust on the tiles where the barrow’s “feet” were resting on the tiles. There appear to be a multitude of products online for removing rust. Anyone have any recommendation as to a particularly good one?

Onoff Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Try some citric acid in near boiling water. Try 19:1 (5%) then 4:1 (20%) powder to water. 1

Lawn? 3D print some free draining feet. It'll still likely stain over time with rust "run off". You could periodically wipe the feet with a good dose of ACF-50.
Pocster Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I get these rust feet from work tables etc left outside . They remain static and hardly ever move because I avoid doing work . When I finally do decide to move it and rust footprint appears a bit of cif fixes it . I then move the work bench back to sit idle for a few more years . 1
Kelvin Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I used this stuff on bathroom tiles that got rust on them from a rubbish shelf we fitted. Worked brilliantly. Mellerud Rust Spot Remover for... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006M2JTKW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share 1
