MikeSharp01
OK so here is a neat little pad in the SE, with price tag to match, that has very nice credentials on the SAP front but can rival Drax when it comes to burning wood 🪵 and they have 2 ASHPs, loads of Solar PV and 2 Solar Edge batteries- but can anyone afford it? https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/144719090#/?channel=RES_NEW

joe90
If you can afford that you can afford a cleaner (or two and maybe a butler 🤷♂️).
SteamyTea
What a (expletive deleted)ing horrible wood burner, I would knock a million of the price, and another million off because there is a swimming pool. And then maybe another million off as it is not a pretty house. Then the negotiation could start on the price.

Maybe the form is good for thermal performance. It may be nice inside, often houses are.

It has of course helped the local economy (and the German kitchen industry) and the money will trickle down to us all. The swimming pool will hardly get used and will end up being a nature pool. The hot tub is probably heated by treadmills operated by locals, or even badgers. It's a shame that the people are having to sell their dream home after only 2 years. Maybe they don't like it. we can only hope that they don't lose money.

EPC A and the need all those fires, simply daft.
