Macerator wiring rules

Can’t find anything obvious online .

 

Can it go straight back to the CU ? . Need a fused spur in the wc room or outside ? 

 

Don’t want bco pulling a face …. ( not that they’ll ever visit but just in case )

If it were me I would connect it to a fused spur outside the room, but @ProDave will know 👍

Fused spur outlet in the room with the WC is fine if it is just a WC. If there is a bath or shower in there, different rules apply.

Presume the fused spur can be up the wall high I.e out of harms way ( but reachable of course )

Just use an extension lead so you’ve got the flexibility to pull it out when it goes wrong ….

if all the circumstances line up as a worst case including too much vindaloo it needs to be resilient to an aerosol of high speed, liquidised, flying poo.

No low down, the only couple I have seen come with a relatively short fitted flex.  I never investigated if you could change it.
