JohnBishop
Hi, I have these old wooden doors but their condition is very good actually. The only thing I don't like is this single and privacy glass. https://i.ibb.co/JFVBcd5/backdoor.jpg I want to swap it with a 28mm thick clear double gazing. I can see that it's deeper on the inside so somehow I have to take that wooden frame. Is it possible to do it without breaking it to pieces? This is solid wood and I reckon it's held by some thin nails I am having difficulty locating and maybe some wood glue as well to makes it harder. I want to also take it off to take measurements to order glass. Please advise.
Bonner
Try to gently pry off the beading with a wide flat tool like a scraper. It is unlikely to be glued but will be pinned and also stuck with glazing putty and years of paint. ... hang on ... you will need a different size bead for the DG unit so don’t waste your time
ProDave
Might still be possible with different or trimmed down beading.

Easier to plane some timber down to size and fit new I think, so no need to be so careful when getting the old ones out.
SteamyTea
Can try a magnet to locate any steel nails. Or an angle grinder.
Temp
Easy enough to make a new wood frame.
craig
Trim the existing beading down in size, you’ll be fine doing that 👍
