ProDave Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Sod the window cleaner, I want to know how that roof stays up without spreading, with no visible ridge beam and a structure that looks too slender to have gusset pates at all the corners? Oh and how does it comply with building regs with no opening means of escape? Does it actually exist? or is it just a picture of what someone would like?

Onoff Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I like that! Just make sure the window cleaner puts some sheets down first! Couple of rails down either wall and you could have a travelling gantry. Inside and out! ? That's got to be a move the furniture quarterly and clean off a little ali tower job, no? Water fed pole outside.
ToughButterCup Posted April 4, 2021 Author Posted April 4, 2021 I agree. This has a wow factor - a big wow factor, followed by just as big a tooth sucking factor. Of course she loves it. And asks why we didn't think of this design earlier.. ?
Temp Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I've seen a house in Belgium that looks like someone took an axe to the ridge and cut a V shape glazed notch out of the ridge.
applypressure Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 sod the window cleaner they will charge you an arm and a leg to clean that! I was talking to my local window cleaner and found out the long telescopic poles they all use are from wfp im looking at buying one, if its good enough for the professionals to use, its good enough for me to use. I just need to figure out what they do to the water, he mentioned something about purifying it and removing the minerals before using it to clean the windows but i only got 3 GCSEs so couldn't keep up with the science. Anyway my window cleaner charged £15 every 4 weeks for my 3 bed detached house. i reckon for that on it'll be at least £60
Mattg4321 Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 They usually use ‘pure water’ or similar like https://www.spotlesswater.co.uk/locations/
