Hello - New to Forum

Hi All

 

I have just joined this forum.

 

I am planning a build in the Western Isles in Scotland and looking forward to sharing some ideas and getting feedback from folk on the build process in general.

We are in Scotland as well........just outside Edinburgh (or will be when we are finished).

Hoping to start in the next few months.

Where are you in the Western Isles? Are you planning to start soon?

Thanks for the reply - we will be building on Isle of Harris and then moving up from Glasgow area.

 

Hoping to start next year as have missed the weather window this year.

Hi and welcome to the forum.  We have quite a few Scottish Islanders on here now (though I am on the mainland)

 

Harris is a lovely place, the best part of the Outer Hebredies imho

Harris is indeed lovely, as you'll already know. Some of the best beaches anywhere. You're not far at all from me- I'm in Skye.

 

I'm sure you'll have lots of fun organising haulage etc

Welcome and what an amazing opportunity.  We are stuck in the South East but spend about 6 weeks a year in Scotland which we love. Best of luck and I look forward to seeing your progress.
