Although part of my "bathroom starts" thread - I think I needed to post this separately .

So!.

My 'internal drain' runs the width of the build below my beam and block.

I intend to drop pipe work down from above then into the drain ( green shows proposed drain, purple connections from WC, sink, shower etc. etc).

Is it as simple as this?. Just make sure they are connected as high as possible into the drainage pipework? - is that it??

Intended to glue everything and use only solid pipe. Will have to somehow have that long internal drain pipe supported.

I did exactly that I totally missed putting a grain for the down stars loo

Quick fix lift a 3 mtr line of blocks and pick up the manhole outside the back door

NO CHNCE To high had to run the full length of the house

Glued everything made sure the pipe was well supported and adde a chamber just outside the house

Works a treat

Chamber already outside and in place .

Not sure how to support it though .

Metal straps screwed to the beams ?

Prefer something more solid so the pipe can’t move ...

I bedded mine on concrete under the BB floor

What do you mean exactly ? .

You shuttered under the b & b and then poured concrete over the pipe ??

@nod didn't have a basement like you. Just screw up into the blocks if you can't use any proprietary fixing strap/band

Just a 250 void under the BB

As above, or use unistrut. Dont forget you need a fall.

Also, once you are under the floor, and, or, above the ceiling, i would go from 40mm to 50mm then into the 110mm. You will prob be ok with short runs, but i would still go to 50mm

Can’t seem to find what I think I need .

Ok you’ve got a channel that you can bolt too - but I don’t see adjustable length threads with 110mm pipe clamps .

I’m probably not looking at the right thing ?

Here you go geezer. 68BCE03A-FBCD-441E-A1FC-CA66090C8A6B.thumb.png.019c217eb70f07d8c60a9beb7f1a178a.png

Well it certainly looks like what I want !

But if the threads too long ( as it shortens to generate the fall ) I assume if I cut it I’ll burr one end and make it unusable?!?!?

I cut studding with a 4 1/2" slitting disc and take the burr off / polish the end with a flap disc. No nut used.
