Protecting from knocks

I’m wondering how other self builders protect newly installed stuff from knocks and scuffs?

 

I've just started installing windows and a few are floor to ceiling and I don’t want any getting damaged!

Tape Protecta board or something else to them ..??

I used bits of carpet underlay and carpet taped to the floor and windows.

I taped antinox over anything I wanted protected. If you still need the light use bubble wrap.

That we’re fixed to pallets and covering on a large plastic bag and cling film! Nothing else,

Is there also the point someone made recently that boarded up windows may deter Council Tax inspectors?
