Pocster Posted September 20, 2019 Author Posted September 20, 2019 Tis a true pain getting the solid pipe in place to allow for all connections
Pocster Posted September 23, 2019 Author Posted September 23, 2019 Well that seemed more work than it should of been ! . Needless to say foil tape and insulation yet to be added !!!
Pocster Posted September 24, 2019 Author Posted September 24, 2019 Question ! As i’ve Yet to power up the mvhr - do the semi flexible pipes move with airflow ? i.e should I clip them rather than just lay across joists ??

SteamyTea Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Reminds me of that Black Mirror with the killer robot dogs. 1
Pocster Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 Right ! All done ! . Taped all joints . Only thing left to do is get power to the unit and fit the condensation trap outlet thingy . Wasn't rocket science - but a surprising amount of work .
oranjeboom Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Bet you're glad that faff has been completed! At least you have no ceiling in place yet so a bit easier to tape the joins. Did you end up CT1'ing all the connections or just taping? 1

Yeah ; another job done . ct1 on all the solid white pipe stuff - those joints ain’t coming apart ! . Foil tape them aswell - just to be safe !
oranjeboom Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Best to be safe. Especially if you get some muppet tradesman doing work after you and decides to sit/lean/swing from them! I won't bother using the illbruck stuff then- maybe that is meant to as a sealant when going through walls etc. Now that it's cooler, I'll force myself into the attic to finish that job I started months ago... 1

If I've done it - you've got to do it! ?
