Spoke to vent axia - not much help tbh . The water I assume must be from ‘extract from dwelling ‘ . Still confused how this happens ….

All back together and seems to be working perfectly. Confused how water accumulated on the right though ….

Other way round for filters ffs !!!

To convince myself! - it's a left handed system. I know this because the left filter has dust from inside whilst the right filter has black/pollution from outside. So I guess whats confusing me is why have water in the right side where there is no drain? -

I’ve got a warm roof so all pipe work is in that . I’m still confused why both tanks aren’t simply linked and drain to one point . I’ve emailed vent axia too see . Perhaps I’ve just been ‘unlucky ‘ and if regularly serviced would have avoided this …

Left hand config drain on left; right hand config -drain on right. Mines left hand I believe. So drain is the correct side.... Will drain it, clean it and see.

Yep . Either side a fan . Below each fan a self contained tank . The only place either can drain is through the plug in the base of their respective tank .This is why I think I might have the drain on the wrong side . But it’s been working perfectly for 4 yrs as is !!

There’s a ‘plug’ on the right side - so I could manually drain it …. But I don’t get how it works if water sits there

That’s the left side I.e drain side . Zero channel to the other side . Almost like it needs 2 drains !!

There seems to be no obvious channel from 1 side to the other!. I must be missing something!!

Really dumb question. Have I got the drain on the correct side!!!????

Covers off exchanger out . theres pooled water but its on the other side i.e not the drain side …

Ok - I’ll take the cover off tomorrow. I’m expecting to see a sea of black mould or some fungus , or a (expletive deleted)ing alien life form , or something (expletive deleted)ing distressing !!!

I’m too scared to open it ! . It sounds like the fan is hitting water ( at least that’s the sound too me ) . Previously sounded like bearings failing . I took the drain off - a bit came out ( with bucket underneath expecting flood ) but nothing much . I could take the 4 screws off the front panel - but then I’m in unknown territory!!!!

Yeah - just seems strange after 4 years. I quickly checked in the loft ( paranoid of a leak ) and could see nothing obviously. The unit itself is making very unnatural noises ( I've recorded it - but won't let me upload the file format ). Anyone recommend a MVHR servicing company for SW ? - I emailed a few a week ago ( when the initial strange noises started ) and had no replies.....

Even the filters at the top are dripping ! What does that suggest ?

Only recently . Sounded like bearings going . But now dripping water out of unit and indeed even off the outlet pipes I think . Check drain seems ok . Any advice ? thanks

Mine not like that . Just a pointer to the original house - not the new build . But it listed the new build name etc correctly .

The actual point shown is next door I.e the original house before the build . I assumed accuracy was an issue - the address listed was correct though

Yeah married …. For now ! 🤣 . I suspect as it’s taken years just to deal with land registry issues it’s all in my name ( just to simplify ) . I need to check with land registry ; if no SWMBO - add her on .

Because it’s a self build that’s why I was confused . I split the land ( which I think is in my name ) . Therefore the build is solely in my name ? . Should I change that to joint ?? I.e in event of death for one of us …

Yeah it shows on there . So that means the land is registered correctly ? But who owns the house ? Same as land registry ? I.e whose name is on that

What do I do about this ? I assume there’s no land registry entry as build hasn’t transferred ownership … Who owns our house ? 🤣 Should I do something here ? - best in both names ? ( me and SWMBO not me and mistress ) . Only just thought of this issue !!
