We’ve moved from the loft room - evidence from epc assessor that the combined U is 0.14 I.e less than there wanted minimum of 0.16.
So that’s good news .
Focus has now shifted to the kitchen pitched roof which is deemed uninsulated .
This is an easier problem . Worst case it could be insulated internally as there is ceiling height .
Again they quote document L - which they can’t enforce .
Then they try health and safety as roof not 0.16 or better .
Their case officer viewed the house 3 months ago and did pick on other issues in the kitchen ( incorrectly ! ) , so he was observant .
But missed category 1 and 2 h &s issues ???
Either incompetent or there aren’t any issues .
The council have clearly overstepped their authority. They have zero evidence. Told them let’s go to tribunal.
