  1. I’ve got a bad feeling to get my tiles level and flat in the corner they need to go into the wall . The stud work must of been a bit out - bending the tile backer board . Photo’s tomorrow. I can think of a nasty solution that Uncle Nick would swoon at .
  2. Oh dear . It would appear my wall horizontally isn’t level as it approaches the corner . The levellers have pulled the end tiles in as they should but now with a spirit level running horizontally I can see my tiles are out . Luckily this side will have a sink and wall unit - so hardly any tiles will be visible . What worries me though is when the sink unit is against the wall any silicone will be at varying widths ! Photo’s to follow . Similar problem to @Onoff tiles across the toilet . Can you notice in the Mastik on the pan to wall join the fact the tiles are out ????
  3. Sorry , untested !
  4. Exactly . My dremel skills are unequalled
  5. My dremel equivalent is bust . So ordered one .
  6. Nothing deters me!?
  7. Can’t trim it . That’s the problem . It won’t poke in . It’s some kind of hard steel ( thought it be crap as an eBay purchase) . Dremel it is ! Once I find it !
  8. Yeah maybe . I’ve got one somewhere
  9. Obviously angle grinder might be an issue ? Even multi tool is to risky
  10. Just those 2 metal bits to get out . The longer ( unsnapped ) one looks like it’s hooked under the tile above but skewed I.e never coming out . These are hard to cut - I haven’t found a tool that will do it yet
  11. Yeah yeah yeah ! ?? I’ve got all but 3 of the levelling things out . 2 have snapped though - these are a problem . The metal in them is surprisingly hard - would give up and cut them . But need a real tight cut so they don’t stick through the grout . Tricky with a gap of 2mm
  12. So many many replies I could post ...
  13. This is going to take some cleaning !!
  14. Quality can often be missed
  15. Your eyes are (expletive deleted)ed
  16. My levellers were loose in a box with no instructions - but unsurprisingly I found 3) Before the cement or tile glue has completely dried up (usually no more than 6 hours), tighten the adjusting cover in the opposite direction, then rotate the T-pin 90 degrees so that the T-pin turns to a zigzag parallel to the tile, and remove the leveler; Tricky when you don't live on site!

What will happen WHEN @Onoff breaths it in? - asking for a friend.
  18. Did it tell you to do some tiling ? ?
  19. Is cleaning and trying to get these f ing things out meant to take longer than the tiling ??? ?
  20. True . Those rips eh ???
  21. Using the jigsaw blade again they do eventually come out . Note to self remove levellers next day !! ?
  22. These levellers seem to remove fairly easy on most vertical joints . Horizontal I’m struggling
  23. I’m worried about pressing it to bed it . I can’t apply any pressure on the sliver . Am I being a wuzz ? ?
