Anyway since when did 50mm matter to you ? ?
-
My problem is the bath is free-standing and I have the taps free standing also which pushes it away from the wall and then it starts to encroach on the WC. Think I need to stick WC on wall temporarily too see how much width I've got ( answers on a postcode, I have a lot of width ! )
-
Oh ffs! How fat are you?
-
Reckon this might do it https://www.bathshop321.com/manhattan-1600-modern-luxury-freestanding-double-ended-bath/
-
hmmm, 800 wide is a bit too tight! . 750 max would be nicer
-
Very similar isn't it? and half the price! No stock until December though - which buys me time to feck about!
-
This is apparently what we are having! Trying to find it or something very similar cheaper!!! https://www.victorianbathrooms4u.com/baths/type/freestanding/charlotte-edwards-grosvenor-1650mm-freestanding-bath/

It’s not optional @joe90 - it’s a definite . Like tax and death . An immovable certainty . Except thy fate ...
-
White now apparently is the ONLY colour allowed - so I’ve been informed....
-
Just looking ... how (expletive deleted)ing much ! https://www.aquaticabath.co.uk/category/black-bathtubs

STOP ! SWMBO has said no to a black bath ! close the thread ffs ??
-
Ohhhhhhh . Can’t tell if it’s exactly the same model but certainly looks it !!
-
That's rude isn't it?
-
I'll order it . Find i.e. make a scratch; and get it for half price ? Well - it's looking like I might push the button on this - still need SWMBOs final input.
-
Why disappointed? The outside will never need a clean! I am braver than you. SWMBO ( I'll hand this to you or @Onoff for a witty response ) enjoys a big black one in the bathroom.
-
Is it wrong? I mean the WC will be white - would it look out of place? I should point out we have very dark floor tiles ( once down ) a black sparkly shower tray. Can't work out if a black bath is too much ( walls are light grey tiles ) or if it's a STATEMENT! ( that's the type of crap Kevin McCloud would say; so I'll just copy him, if Sarah Beeny says it also then that's fine. ) Vote's please! Well ! The mitre accessory hasn’t turned up , which is what I really need . Just tried to cut thin steel with it - neat cut . Later need to cut a square in a tile , so will try that . Plunge cut on my big tile cutter is just too large ...
-
That’s because I started in the bathroom but then did the ensuite for a bit . Title should be “ Doing fecking stuff might be bathroom might not be “ Bottom one is in . Will do top tomorrow. Got myself a dremel dsm20 - hoping this will give perfect mitres - then my tessties will swell . I think lining up everything to fit a tile is sometimes impossible . One wall in the bathroom has 2 recesses and a window . Hence my professional made mitring solves all this planning bollocks .
-
I've confused you then confused myself. These recesses are the ensuite - the trim is already in. My 'bodge' L shape mitred trim will be in the bathroom - haven't done that yet...
-
Led strip - not just 1 led a row of them . I’ll live with it
-
Yes
-
Actually a tile stuck ontop would block the led ! So it would all have to come out . Think I’ll live with it . It’s because I’ve been laying these horizontally so not thinking of vertical !! ??
-
Not sure what you mean . The side reveals I was going to do as whole tiles I.e no horizontal grout line
-
Doh ! . For reasons unknown I put 2 tiles in the rear of the recess . If I just rotated the full tile would of got rid of the grout line . What was I thinking !! If SWMBO says nothing then that’s good - if she mentions it I’ll just stick a tile on top ! . Those ain’t coming out an easy way . Must be getting tiling fatigue syndrome ( TFS )
