Ok - I’m a generous , kind type of guy . You can have it for 2k with some free walk on glazing - how’s that grab you ?
-

Decoupling mat down Tiles are 600mm x 600mm so I believe a minimum of a 10mm notched trowel ? Back buttered obviously ?
-
Decoupling mat down . I used Ardex 200 to glue it down . Wasn’t too sure on it at first . But as soon as the Mat underside touches it - it sticks !!! I notched it as it says - but tbh it doesn’t notch too well even after mixing it’s too loose . The matts certainly not coming up though ...

True . We are indeed kindred spirits

Brrrrrrr that nice new bathroom is cold , wish there was some functional ufh ?

Nothing good under my armpit ? Yeah I considered any upstands in the shower tray region get ‘ special treatment’ - so they will most probably be made to line up with wall grout ! I never had ocd - but since tiling I do ?

Delta board . Not particularly cheap but not shchulter pricing . Water resistant rather than waterproof . Light weight and easy to cut . Buy the fixing off eBay much cheaper . -
I’ll test it for you . If it’s good you can have it for 90 quid

Too fecking late mate!. I'm not convinced any roller won't leave a texture. Anyway - new toy on the way!
-
Ordered. If it's crap I'll send it on to you @SteamyTea

Might be worth a punt. £45 quid to apply 45pence of paint. Still it's this or setup the spray BEAST!

Right ! I’m going with @JFDIY ? So floor tiles and upstands Will line up on longest left wall . Right side floor tiles will end where ever . I’ll have to play with the upstands to see whether lining with wall or floor grout line looks best . Far wall all hidden by the bath . In reality 90% of all this isn’t visible but it feels SO important..... ?
-
Hmmmm or the upstands could match the wall tile grout lines , but not the floor tiles ... Aaaarrrggghhhh ! ?
-
Yeah they will . I did think that at first .....

Yes it’s a day of procrastination!!!! ??

While I debate what to do ( though assume shifting the whole floor up so no line up with wall grout lines is best ) Bought some of these ‘corner’ spacers to go with the wedge system . Just feel happier knowing the corners are level .
-
Though I notice that the floor tile grout lines cannot match the wall lines . Out quite a bit on one side of the room . I assume have one side line up and the other not ;would look wrong . If I shift it along a bit then none will line up on either side - this better ??

Your tiles look like a dark grey - if grouts a similar colour you might get away with it .

I did quickly look at cheap ones - but they all get mixed or terrible reviews . Any you suggest ???

It hasn’t Peter Though I did a first watery coat using the same paint . Speaking to the company they suggest next time to use a watered down emulsion first . He said this as it is would not be an issue assuming I don’t stick a piece of sellotape on it and pull it off .
