  1. You mean here ? Mot type 1 - asphalt ends in that green line just about
  2. Exactly . What to do ? . Dig out and fill with concrete ?
  3. Compacted mot1 I think
  4. Forgot I’ve got some of this It’s the rough ground an issue - but it’s unlikely to move - just (expletive deleted) this over the lot ( professionally speaking )
  5. But what about the compressed loose ground between them ? . Remove replace with concrete or just (expletive deleted) liquid rubber over that also ?
  6. Think what I might do is cut back the membrane for the 1st row of pavers . Dig it out , put concrete in . Then bitumen from asphalt over that .
  7. Or perhaps a piece of flat outdoor plastic laid under the membrane upto the edge of the asphalt. Might give a better seal if bitumen ( or liquid rubber ?? ChatGPT keeps changing its mind ! ) - ??????????
  8. So the asphalt ends at the green line , rough ( but compressed ) ground ( probably mot1 ) - so that runs under the membrane . So just liquid rubber running from a few inches up the asphalt to a few inches over the membrane . In essence the red bit is liquid rubber done all the way along covering all the different materials . That a plan. ?
  9. Where the asphalt ends - then rough ground , then the compacted ground ; membrane ontop and pavers . So that liquid rubber over the lot ? Effectively ( hopefully ) forming a waterproof barrier from rain going over asphalt then over the rubber off onto the membrane under the pavers I.e water will run away at that point
  10. Gorilla type liquid rubber and just (expletive deleted) over the 3 materials ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gorilla-Waterproof-Coat-Black-473ml/dp/B09V86J5YD/ref=mp_s_a_1_3_mod_primary_new?crid=2MF2EKSRMIBTV&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.O0vWoMcL7jZMja5gyMI1-0wdC8OOmN_zn4A1FjXTF_fwL00iDl-CsIE4abjRfBq_5nKTL5Old6YR7Rrq1T_odicmAkjjK7qbmSd_iscxdsaiwBOcHly2Qu5goPmNc2ivOmkl--oIsS1awvolJ-C6CNrFwOBVqDgy3fh53ts1yjyZpkbSTlTbbKGpgJyBaqF1zuzzWjp9_xU1o69y0toFIA.wdTSmUrFz24KdDgTW8rBx2QWlsXlDLhG3LK9wd15ANM&dib_tag=se&keywords=gorilla+liquid+rubber&qid=1750514596&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sprefix=gorilla+liquid%2Caps%2C97&sr=8-3
  11. Dug up a bit . So there’s some membrane under the pavers . Perhaps when it floods it runs under that and back ? Just concrete over the edge of the asphalt and membrane - then bitumen paint the lot ? I can’t just bitumen paint this as is can I ?? Liquid rubber ? So up over the asphalt to meet the bitumen . Over that small bit of rough ground , then over the edge of the membrane … ?
  12. Think I need to take up a row of pavers . Clean it up so I can see how the asphalt actually ends .
  13. Dig up the rough ground where the asphalt ends and rough ground begins ( currently pavers ontop ) . Cement with fibres mixed in to stabilise the ground then bitumen paint that and over the asphalt edge ?
  14. Still leaks but very slight . The issue I think ( guess ) is overflowing that corner I.e the block paving causes the water to pool and run high… Could just remove some blocks and retest … ? Just pour / paste bitumen all over the exposed ground ? It pools at the green area and literally rises to the top of the blocks - so I think it then seaps through the ground and runs under .
  15. 10 minute saturation test
  16. Friday mate - that’s a given
  17. I loves corn hole wall . I do . I loves it . I thought 28 years later was filmed there - no need for extras .
  18. You’ve got to be careful Uncle Nick. In some parts of the Country ; popping corn has different meaning - especially in Corn(shit hole ) wall - @SteamyTea will be on you once he’s finished serving the wonderful tourists.
  19. I slapped another layer of thick sticky stuff over it , I also applied the bitumen
  20. Bitumen paint applied . Pretty warm today so will go over it again in 5 hours or so
  21. I guess it is just pot luck then . Too many variables !! . Denon apparently are ‘aware’ of the potential issue but don’t publicise it . If only by default it was on single monitor then the problem would be largely avoided . Still , I’m confident it’s fixed . The projector has always given an incredible picture in a light controlled room . Now the audio is ‘correct’ e.g getting Dolby atmos pushed through where before just didn’t . I am happy ! . Atmos ceiling speakers due anyday now ….
  22. Apparently it still tries handshake with no monitor in . More interesting if you have 2 monitors in it naturally will format the display to the lowest denomination for both screens . So , with 1 screen in it was downgrading my options because it’s getting ‘ something ‘ from non existent monitor 2 . Perhaps all this occurs just with my projector maybe . I googled a lot and it is certain it tries monitor 2 ; because dual is set . Since changing it I’ve had zero blackouts . Come Monday if the same then it’s fixed . If I were you I’d make a notice of what video and audio options you have ( depends on content of course ) . Set it to single display - reboot all , see if you get any different / missing options .
  23. I would say it still leaks . Just a tiny bit damp - but was still damp from 2 days ago ! ( didn’t test yesterday ) .So will let it dry out and bitumen paint that area tomorrow
  24. Perfect weather for a leak test !
  25. I don’t think so ! . If you have 2 outputs connected it will work . Tomorrow I’ll change it back to dual - if I get video / sound options that I shouldn’t ( was always confused by this ) - then that’s proof …..
