  1. I know , I know - I was just stroking your member . Just surprised how long and noisy it’s been on - 78% even now . Will fiddle bathroom ufh up - you going to do the same ?
  2. SWMBO wants the same - everything works when server fails ? Looked at hc2 - wasn’t that impressed - but hc3 May be better . SWMBO wanted ‘real ‘ light switches in bedrooms . So have zwave ones that also function as ‘normal ‘ touch switches i.e can turn a load on/ off regardless of HA functioning . I have zero battery powered devices so aeotec sensors for example are poe . Battery failure and polling / update issues I can see being an issue so eliminated that problem . My lighting is automatic ( don’t want 50 switches on the wall ? ) or via an iPad to control .
  3. Simple lol ? - I don’t do that ! For ufh I have solus actuators on each run . Then a heatmister ( I think ) wiring loom with fibaro switches . So zwave turns on the fibaro switch ; which opens the actuator - the wiring loom sees this and starts the pump . Heating !! ? z wave for lighting kind of works ! ( z wave not 100% reliable ) . Aeotec sensor detects movement in room and triggers zwave din rail switch to turn light on . If you need more specific’s just ask ! Just ordered 2 new aeotec sensor 7 - see if they they improve the reliability/ delay between a light coming on . Homeseer scripting does the work .
  4. I agree ; couldn’t see the point of temperature at the floor . I have aeotec multi sensor 6’s in the ceiling in each room . Temperature reading is just 1 of their functions . But it is zwave so you would need a server ….
  5. I assumed ( maybe incorrectly) this unit auto boosts ( though it still says ‘low ‘ ) on high humidity . Just surprised how noisy and slow it is - bathrooms been clear for ages !! . 80% now . Just want to check this is normal operation ….
  6. Yeah I was in a rush to wire it and didn’t give a fudge . Sparky liked it also ??
  7. 80% now. I think it goes normal at 75%??? No one better shower after 10pm!!!
  8. Ok. Now 81% Surely I want to increase the boost setting?? To reduce the humidity very quickly ( even if very noisy )? By adjust the terminal - you mean the air intake in the bathroom?. I don't think there is any adjustment on it .... If there is do I want to open it more or reduce it??? Did think maybe my humidity/condensation drain might be the issue i.e. not enough fall ; but I think looks ok....
  9. Still noisy now and still 82%. Even turned if off/on ( technical approach ) still the same. Unless it quietens down will have to turn it off as won't be able to sleep later.
  10. The internal humidity shows at 82% ( was 83% ) seems to be taking a long time though to drop......
  11. Only turned this on in the last few days!. Decided to have a shower - expecting it to rid the room of humidity ; which it seems to have done. The unit has now been sat for maybe 15 minutes with status of "Internal humidity " being quite noisy . Is this normal??
  12. Underground needs some work …
  13. I struggle to think how to update my avatar without getting banned . Snagging !? ? . Got the whole underground utopia to complete now .?
  14. @SteamyTea can you (expletive deleted)ing ‘like’ my original post to push my popularity up the ratings like I’ve done for you many times .
  15. That’s squid games season 2, episode 3 I think .
  16. I haven’t finished ! Season 2 is just around the corner !!
  17. In case anyone was wondering that’s a quote from squid games 2 . You heard it hear 1st folks !
  18. As @Nickfromwales has stated . You wouldn’t ask another man to stroke your scrotum nor must you ask him to finish your bathroom .
  19. I will . Of complete and not so complete bits ! ( roses and warts ? )
  20. Thanks for the mega number of ‘likes’ it means a lot …..
  21. Nah ! Less than 7 ( no commitment to time scale though )
  22. Ah shit - that's my problem then!
  23. I can do it so YOU can do it. Took me 8 months to build a random stone wall through winter, sleet and rain. Had chronic plantar faciitis one year and couldn't stand - needed to dig a trench - normally take me a day. Took me 2 weeks on my knees. The challenges will come. They will overload you. You say (expletive deleted) YOU to them and get on with it. I know your journey; so I will know your pain ( sounds like a quote from a movie! ). Help's here ( not from me! ; I'm (expletive deleted)ing useless )) use it !
  24. It’s true ! ? Not complete ( of course ) but after 7 years we actually move in tomorrow. What have i learnt ? . With infinite support and help from this forum you can build a non standard house built by an unskilled non standard human ? . I always felt my journey was a testament to this forum . If I were a plumber , joiner , brickie etc. then that would be a distinct natural advantage. Yet I am an ex software engineer who builds his house bit by bit ( had to get that joke in , sorry ! ) There have been mistakes a plenty ( not all mine ) - many wft moments . The build literally consists of blood , sweat , tears and indeed other bodily fluids . So thank you to all that offer help and advice . Those that tolerate seemingly stupid questions ( usually are stupid actually ) . But most of all to give time to help someone achieve more than they are capable of . This is the power of buildhub . I will now post some witty comments elsewhere ; or some obscenity that will get me a naughty boy badge .
