Can see tap access if it fails will be a dog . So did a mock-up . Cut out the unit to the right for access - washer goes here so no issue .
-
Frame built around it - check photos

Ahhhhh . I was eventually correct . Don’t think I’ll use the screws though - can’t see their benefit when I can just tighten the metal nut . Though …. I suppose when I can’t access the nut for further tightening the screws might be easier to access ???

I don’t have to use the screws … but you know - I do try to follow the instructions…

Suggests this . With worktop after white thingy . Just seems odd that the screws will push the metal washer against the rubber and then the lip of white thing ….
-
But in the instructions the install pics ( first 5 ) don’t show it . Then in the exploded view it’s there .

Yeah I know what (expletive deleted)ing part it is

Plumbings for girls ! Once again a few hours on a Friday = a weeks lack of productivity. Horizontal pipe a bit of a kink . Used ‘bits’ I found round the site ( bottle trap might be better tbh ) . Tested and works ! 👍 ( for now )

Can’t get 65 and 140 🫤 Tap *has* to go to the right and away from the back ( otherwise window won’t open past tap )
-
Had to notch for the waste ( lovely sink , waste and overflow Aldi plastic ) Do I need to silicone / ct1 under the sink lip ? . Feels pointless as worktop will be over it and sealed down anyway .
-
It’s in . Tap space will be awkward ( but always would be anyway ) . I will install them as a test ( bit of timber with hole in ) . To see how much of a pita it could be …

Few mm lower than worktop - assume not an issue . Left and right side not supported so will add more batton

Think I might rip that steel out and fix these “ come with the kitchen but no idea what they are for “ horizontals set down into the unit

Lol Got my sink ! I’m a bit tight for space !! This too far to the front ? Has to be hard to the left as tap has to be too right of sink
-
This is the downfall . I put my pipe cutters somewhere safe . 45 minutes to find them …
-
They are under the hammer that you can’t find

What screws for into the laminate ? Just standard wood screws ? - pre drill it ??

Yeah I was worried about screws . The panels are 18mm. Fear makes me worry that : Not enough bite if screw not deep enough Going through the panel !
