You forgot rule 3 3. Measure floor to ceiling height and align tiles so that you don’t have a crappy slither at the top .
-
If you notch the screed and butter the tile backs then use a levelling system any adjustments for level should be taken out .

Non-Chinese solar CCTV that works over LAN?

I look at all these kind of things and I must admit never seen anything like that . Doing your own shouldn’t be that hard - but appreciate you have 4 to do ! . Can you not perhaps reduce that by using a strategically placed ptz camera ? -
Now 🙄🙄🙄🙄🤣

Yeah of course

Lol No idea what price you’ve seen - plenty of wiggle room when haggling . I will show you a photo of a minor but expensive feature . I guess almost no one would notice or care for the money . Can you guess ? . £400 for a particular worktop feature .

Can you hack into buildhub and make me a mod please ? -
But new HA setup has no ngrok tunnel fudge …. Your other suggestion might be better I suppose - though prefer not to upload my entire music collection to the cloud ( all legal of course , no copies or anything )
-
Yep ( with tunnels and skills I.e pita ) But that’s on the existing HA system .

Looked at the wiim amp Still unclear if you can control a local audio library via Alexa for it ….
-
Yeah I did see that . Couldn’t work out if that will do what I want tbh …. So I’d still need an amp per zone ? Them a wiim per amp ??

Should I be filling this before tiling?

Now you’ve got to buy a towel rail 🙄🤣 -
No smart speaker shite ! Have speakers . Nice ones in the lounge
-
I’ve been more than happy streaming my music collection from my nas to raspberry pis with amp hats to ceiling speakers . All controlled via iPeng . swmbo ( ffs ) likes Alexa ( guess she can talk to it other than me ) . A right pita to get Alexa to communicate with squeezebox Lms server - but got it working and a pain to maintain . Transferring away from my current HA and going to home assistant I can’t see any sensible way to implement Alexa voice commands with Lms . Currently “ Alexa , play album xxx “ works . Output is of course not via Alexa but by relevant pi . I’ve googled but can’t seem to find an Alexa controlled streamer with multiple outputs ( say 5 sets of stereo ) , or a hub that controls multiple amps . Where source can be changed through speech ( nas , internet radio ). Anything I do find I can’t be certain will do what I want and costs £££. What d’ya reckon ?

Leave it as is. Makes a 'modern' towel rail....
