Bath Surround / Boxing In, and concealed pipework

That seemed to work and goes on the same colour as in the Geberit video! Seemed "smeary" enough too. Holding the membrane up with a bit of duct tape to keep it out of the way. Maybe a mm over but I can live with that. So in theory, once dry, the membrane folds out and gets similarly "smeared" over/on. -
I'll make a lockable guide that I'll slide up the (dead vertical) 100 x 100 steel post so I can't go wrong. I'll also make a "Bricky" esque thing so all my mortar joints are equal and there's very little if any waste or stuff going down inside the pillar.

Ta. When I used the tile adhesive to fill the Aqua Panel joints I just poured some water in a bucket and mixed by hand with a trowel. Seemed to go OK. Would "whisking" it with the paddle mixer make it go "creamier"? -
Did you volunteer?

Just re-built our 1930's semi; almost there now

How about a nice cantilevered shed with NO SUPPORTS? Glass box overlooking the stream. All very GD!

I've got a very small trowel... -

So I'm at about the 3m 50s stage in the video. Feels to me that whatever they're trowelling on is more of a sticky, plaster like "creamy" product than the Mapei tile adhesive I've just used? -

I half considered running a couple of lines of Fischer FIS V 360S resin down the channel and levelling off. -
Google "shed on slope". Lots of ideas there under Images.

This bit, my exotic SBR, pea shingle mix was laid April 1 2018. That's yesterday in my book! -

Ta. No, no slc here. Does the concrete channel need priming with anything before the tile adhesive gets smeared in? -

The Geberit wall drain... Falls are good but I'd like to make good a shallow "channel" where the angle former sat. Maybe 2mm deep. The blue membrane folds out and gets stuck down to the concrete. It's worked out good tbh. Would a smear of tile adhesive suffice? -
I'll remember that. My one often cruds up with limescale and overflows.

So do you need non return valves on the mains in to the header to stop the rainwater back feeding into the mains?

So the 20mm high trannie will sit in his 25mm space? How warm does the trannie get? Are there any manufacturer's instructions as to clearances?
-
Sounds good. Don't suppose you have a picture of something like that?

I've gotten as far as building the gate that slides in and out albeit by hand at the moment. I've trialled the motor and rack & pinion drive but have not fitted it yet permanently as I'm remotely siting the control board. I want to take advantage of the periodic deals Travis Perkins offer on bricks for the pillars. Shown mocked up in blocks here. As the pillars will be part set in the banks either side is there a frost proof rating to look for? Ideally I'd like to get away with having a dpc in the column or if I must then get the footing bricks to match those above. Thinking maybe do the whole thing in an engineering brick?

Cheers. When you say "tape" do you mean the mesh stuff?

Joint tape, scrim: I've bought, been given or scored off site various tapes & scrims over the last 35 years or so. Still got most of it! Not in the least adverse to buying some new but wondered what these are that I've found: The first is seemingly VERY low tack, either that or it's so old it's lost it's tackiness! It is a bit tacky but I wonder if it would actually stick to anything: Then I've a couple of rolls of this stuff. Sticky as Hell but the face is shiny and smooth like Sellotape. What is it? It's like a sticky mesh faced in clear plastic: What then do I then need for my mrpb joint? I assume an open mesh or do I use a paper tape and pva it on? Wickes do a couple of the mesh type for just under a tenner a roll. One's fibreglass. Cheers (And yes, the cooker clock needs resetting )

Was there not something in the sellers Ts&Cs that you as the buyer had so long after delivery to verify the goods? I appreciate with something like an ashp you can't be expected to do that in 7 days or whatever. Or am I thinking that's to do with delivery damage when they say that? Don't reckon I'll have any comeback if my bath pump doesn't fire up!
