Lots of variables I know, but what did people here pay for theirs and what was the spec (centres, shord width, joist depth etc?

and this is what you can do to correct builders' errors ( that is building by eye, rather than with a line and level )

Steve at Cheshire Roof Trusses helped me through that particular trauma.

Be sure to specify exactly how the joist is attached to the wall plate, and measure the width at each and every joist station along the wall.

4.8m span, 225mm depth, 89mm chord and 600 centres for about 26 plus some shorter ones for a stairwell (5 from memory plus a mahooosive double one) and all the z-clips and the 3x2 for the noggins, 95sqm of Egger protect and glue etc was just shy of £2k.

Here's my final Easi Joist plan from Manderwood

 

59 Joists and a few binders

400mm centers apart from one area which is opened to 600 centers to hide duct cooler in ceiling void

Most joists 72mm or 97mm wide, with a couple of real chunkers at 172mm wide.

Top hung on pole plates and steel predominantly

 

7 - 10 day delivery £2611 with VAT (untreated!)

@mvincentd Do I see steels there in that first floor makeup? Who did you get to deal with them.?

SE specced the steelwork  and I used a local fabricator who also installed them ( he was a small outfit and mucked me around a lot with timing so I would not recommend and would use a larger company next time).
