ProDave Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 We went with 2040 by 826 everywhere. Note the 2040 height was a MISTAKE. I did not notice until AFTER I had plasterboarded and the plasterer had skimmed that the openings were that tall. If I had noticed before I would have reduced them to 1981 height. Having to choose 2040 high doors just about halves the choice of available doors.

HerbJ Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 No, not the linen cupboard just the habitable rooms - all the bedroom doors (off the landing) but not the ensuites .
jamiehamy Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Fire doors however are only required in some circumstances however? We didn't have any specified in out house (which surprised me and I did ask the BCO but not needed). Maybe because our upstairs is small and has no bedrooms?
HerbJ Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 We were required to have fire doors because we have a 3 storey house with an open stair case through the central core of the house. So, all the habitable rooms off this central core all specified as fire doors.
