Pete Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Has anybody used the non branded make of Bosch cordless batteries? I had two 4amp Bosch batteries die this week?? and even though FFX have some deals on I was looking at the batteries on Ebay that will fit Bosch tools. I seem to remember some have used a similar battery but for Makita and they had no problems with them.
Barney12 Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I bought a non-branded 5ah one a while back. This one: Amazon Linky Its been absolutely fine.
ToughButterCup Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I wasn't aware that you could get non-branded batteries to fit...... Thanks @Pete and @Barney12
ToughButterCup Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Hmmm - well, good batteries or not, it always takes a sincere Hail Mary or five to start it.
Jeremy Harris Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I have 4 non-branded Makita lithium packs and found they all work as well as the genuine ones. I've hammered two of these non-branded packs, too, as they are used pretty much exclusively in the lawn mower, which doesn't treat them gently.
Simplysimon Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 i've bought a few batteries from here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/vhbwtec , phone and drill. metabo drill batts were uprated and are doing well
Onoff Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Can't remember who put me into County Battery but decent crowd to deal with: https://www.countybattery.co.uk/drill-batteries-/?cookies_accepted=Y&features_hash=9-49755
