Rendering top of wall

Any ideas how to render this off nice and neat to flat roof trim. Walls were built without considering the fall of the flat roof hence why roof timbers are above wall.

Haven't managed to ask the plasterers yet.

We don't have facia other than around the other flat roof so not sure it would look right.

A L strip of cement board from the underside of the black bit too the blocks. It will step out so will look like a feature. I used roof block for the same kind of look.

Does cement board come pre formed in an L shape, not familiar with it.

No comes in a sheet like ply so will need cut and a L made. Nail a batten across the roof line where the line is in the pic. It will be whatever depth it needs to be to get out so the piece of cement board screwed up to the black bit is plum. Then cut another piece of cement board to hide the underside of the batten.

Or just use uPVC fascia as the L shape on it might be enough to cover it. If your putting a gutter on that side  most of it will be covered anyway. Much cheaper and easier to do.

Eps insulation cut to look like a continuation of the wall, mesh it up with the fibreglass reinforcement, render whole wall as one.

Wouldn’t that need a movement joint?

So is that the ends of furrings beneath the deck we are seeing?....and clear space through into your joist cavity.

in which case don’t you want those elements seriously protected. How much distance available from wood to render face?
