Any thoughts on these. I have to slate a 45' degree roof and think a dozen of these could make life v easy.  The angle of the bracket come in 45,60 and 90 degree.

a modern version of a slate hook, the old ones i have need a hole bored in the sarking and have the point driven in. i like those, push under a slate and hook onto the nail. ideal for newish roofs but i don't know whether i'd trust them on old nails.

Agree, i made mine out of wood and heavy galvanised tie down strip, worked great. These look like a lot less work.

Acro roof jack or acro roof brackets. Picking up in home depot tomorrow before flying home. I couldn't find anyone in UK who supplies them.

Sorry bud, plenty of space aswell in case! There was companies as low as 99 dollars for 12 but wouldn't ship to USA address without a usa credit card. Will be using them next week (weather dependent), will report back.

@Triple07 nice pad.  Love that front elevation.

No need to apologise for Scottish weather - spend loads of time hill walking in it.  Not great for building though.

:D
