June 26, 20242 yr What’s everyone thoughts on boards for walls in a shower / bathroom. a third of the room will be a walk in shower, then the rest plastered and painted. I would like a good modern solution for the shower area, then be able to skim the remaining walls ready to paint. cheers.
June 26, 20242 yr Personally I think they look a little cheap. A fully tiled bathroom just looks better to me.

Prefer a good old tile. Decent choice of tile, good ventilation (ensures grout looks good for years), equals nice bathroom
June 26, 20242 yr Had them in several rentals and now in the present house, never had a problem as long as you use a GOOD make. Mine are all multipanel. I was at a rental the other day where the top coating was starting to flake off, I don't know what make they were unfortunately so I can't tell you which to avoid.
