Air tightness test cost

What is a sensible cost for this ?

Does the costing take into account the size of the property ? I.e larger it is , longer to fill with air ??

£360+vat for 200m2,  - that was a pre plaster board test but all are the same.  We used a company called EasyEPC - they also did our as designed SAP, and Part O modelling (we couldn't use the simplified spreadsheet).   Our location means people have to travel a reasonable distance which I think impacts the cost.

Ours was £200 in 2017 for a half day. If it leaks like a sieve, you'll pay for it, as they use your electricity.

Mine was about £250 in 2018.

C80 quoted me £230 last month.

£225 last month, they couldn’t get a stable reading due to wind so coming back next week (260m2 but no difference AFAIK)

I’ve been quoted around 300 + vat ; so far . So similar ball park .

You could try MGA Consultancy in Exeter his tester lives near Bristol and travels the south west,  I don't know how much he charges now but I payed £225+vat in 2021.

£200 [Nov 2021] so will be more than that now. [no VAT then as they had just started out on their own]
