Dormer cladding - modern options

Hello everyone. I'm currently looking at what options we have when it comes to cladding our 'modern' dormer. I initially had ideas of steel or similar cladding sheets, but I'm open to other options.

 

Attached is the DAS interpretation from our architect. It's in a conservation area, so can't be too 'out there' - but they didn't have any issues on design at all while going through planning.

 

All thoughts and ideas welcome.

Thanks for the idea - but we're very anti-brick. We did look initially, but not fans.

Wood planks or clay tiles. Or copper sheeting.

Raised seam roofing, for the dormer and all the other grey bits.

Sorry - no. A bit too big for my taste. Perhaps it’s the different types of roof that are putting me off.

Fair enough - always appreciated your thoughts. We ummed and ahhd over a few options, but wanted to reference the existing building on site somewhere (the monopitch) and incorporate the modern dormer too. I think it’ll come together (hopefully!)
