Barney12 Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Hi All i need to sort out two low profile plain white shower trays so I can sort first fix plumbing. There is a bewildering array of makes online from known brands, unknown brands and prices from low to sky high! Can anyone recommend a 'mid-range' tray?

worldwidewebs Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Have a look at the SL25 from Mere Bathrooms
richi Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I bought one of these from Amazon. MX does several different sizes and it comes with a decent waste: MX Low Level Stone Resin Shower Trays with FREE Waste | All Sizes | 30 YEAR Warranty | UK Manufactured

They aren't that thick so with some judicious removal of floors and tiling you can get them virtually flat to the floor.

My 1500x760 with screen came from the same source, £200 inc waste, not bad at all. Not installed yet but I can't see owt wrong with it.
Ferdinand Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 I have several MX showers in student houses, which have been in for about 4-5 years. No problem so far.
Barney12 Posted September 21, 2017 Author Posted September 21, 2017 Thanks guys will follow up with some research.
Fallingditch Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 After you've bought one, and before you fit it, check that the water runs down the drain (and doesn't form little pools). You know it makes sense. 1
