Dreadnaught
Yes, rather concerning. The "Mira Flight" tray comes in a few different forms. I was intending to buy this version below. But am now unsure. Such poor basic quality control is rather damning. MikeGrahamT21
I've heard quite a few reports of these exact trays coming bowed/bent too, i'm definitely staying away from them
Marvin
I always preferred resin stone as it tends not to flex. I always put silicone around the waste connection top of the trap, both sides of washer underside of tray and top of tray.
SimonD
Yup, been there too with the Mira shower tray - totally rubbish finish around the waster area. I resolved it by getting out my orbital sander and smoothed it off properly. Will not buy another as having used some Mcalpine traps, I'm not convinced the Mira ones are that good either. Mr Punter
I had some trays from another manufacturer and 70% did not drain correctly. Trouble is, once you have lugged a 1800 x 700 stone resin tray upstairs, unwrapped it, fitted it and connected it, it is a right pain to swap out. Plumber will charge you twice. Pocster
Resin stone imho best . Of course can be mofo heavy if large . Once bed - it ain’t coming up due to suction .
