Post and beam
To get around difficult( tight) spacing of pipe runs is it common to run pipes under a stud wall for an easier alternate route to any given room? Thanks in advance for all advice wise ones
ProDave
I did it in mine, easier if the pipes are there before the stud wall.
nod
It’s probably better to get your studs fixed down first Edited August 18, 2023 by nod
JohnMo
I wouldn't put pipes under any wall. Someone will end up putting a nail or screws through a pipe. Plan it correctly there should be no reason to. You may get away with if you everything yourself, but if you are getting others to build it for you, good chance of them messing up. Conor
I did this, but dropped the pipes down in to the insualtion then back out again, for added protection. And in flexible conduit.

Mr Punter
I am surprised to see you using timber studs @nod. I thought you were a convert to metal?
