So got a Benford yesterday and need it onsite in the morning

We saw it working, it has a handle start. The guy said to get oil (showed us the level for the dipstick) and leave it beside it. I know its engine oil but was about to go to halfords to get some, any particular kind? Thanks. Yup I need to get diesel too, they will be there at 8, the digger will position it. How much diesel should I get, tomorrow is only 2 men 1 day then a lull for 2 weeks till bison slabs arrive.

Guy also said at end to call him after we are done with it and he would likely buy it back. (He was refused planning for a self build and they are fighting it). Ssssh don't ask me how much we paid because you will say we could have done better lol.

How are you going to fetch the diesel?  I bought a plastic 20L Jerry can for collecting fuel when I had a digger, those were the days I could buy red from a local supplier.

A 5l can will keep you going a brave while.

I bought a similar one, with an old lister engine, it just ran and ran. 20l will keep it running all day.😃

Yes that will do it, the guy is basically telling you it uses some oil, quite normal for an old lister or new Hatz engine, and as mentioned above, it will run for ever.
