CalvinHobbes Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Hi, I was going through my dad's old stuff and found these. It needs a plug, does it have to be a round one to go into a generator or could it be a standard one that we could power via a temporary consumer unit? We will need to get material up to 1st floor.
joe90 Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 (edited) 110v or 240v? http://www.tumac.se/uk/t275.htm ??? Edited May 2, 2023 by joe90 1
dpmiller Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 need to read the rating plate on the motor to confirm the voltage.
CalvinHobbes Posted May 10, 2023 Author Posted May 10, 2023 (edited) Waiting for the equally antique generator to be serviced (villiers engine) and wondered could I put on a standard 13 amp plug on this wonch and test it? The only thing is there are 3 brown wires and one yellow/green. How do I wire it? Edited May 10, 2023 by CalvinHobbes

I suspect that it also has a SB3 Magnetic clutch/brake The rating label shows SB3 and G100 which I think refers to Gear Motor. Can't seem to google up any wiring diagrams. 1
