Moonshine
This isn't going to work is it (or be a major pain in the arse). Cold water feed for the toilet coming out the wall bang on where the toilet waste is.
ProDave
Why not? Elbow as close to the wall as you can get it, job done?
Redbeard
Maybe I am being simplistic or misunderstanding, but if that is a stud wall can you simply not elbow up inside the wall and come out further up?

I thought that the waste would get in the way.. This is how the plumber has left it, I would have thought that it would be off to the side a little so as not to get in the way of the waste
Jenki
WC connections are usually 180mm on centre. I think all is ok. and if your paying a plumber, its his issue anyway?
Redbeard
Maybe I am missing something, but it seems simpler to me than you feel it is. The WC is forward of that spigot, so there is room between the wall and the connection going into that spigot. Would my idea of elbowing within the wall depth not work? That way the 'Cold water feed for the toilet coming out the wall' won't be coming out of the wall until it's where you want it to be.

I am imagining this will be the final type of fitment, if so that water feed is coming bang on where the waste is
Bonner
Have you told the plumber which cistern is being fitted, bottom or side inlet, left or right feed? It looks like he has put it where it can feed any type of cistern and is out of plain sight.
Russell griffiths
You should have your toilet choice by now and give him a pdf of the installation instructions.
