I called into two BMs this morning 

Both admitting that things had slowed dramatically 

while I expect that site work will remain busy for a while 

Extensions and diy projects will slow to a trickle

Yep, i have been phone by a couple of branch managers seeing about orders i have in the pipe line (not had that before)

Ive noticed that window companies chasing 

If Rational offering to to reduce there ridiculous quote

Interesting - We have had some scary quotes for windows (Even worse with fitting) - Might wait a week and go back to them

I was told cement is going up 10% on the 1st October.

I have been messed about by bricklayers who have not returned after summer as they were too busy.  Got a new one starting Monday who is 30% cheaper!
