can't you just turn the PV inverter off to do your testing? that way no PV will be generated. just a thought.

Yeah I thought of that . Don’t want to lose PV generation 😂😂😂😂

It’s strange how I ( we? ) think . I’ll be absolutely determined not to draw 1kw at peak or miss 1kw of PV ( pence ) . Yet go and buy a latte for 3 quid and not even think of it 🙄

Not in the absence of an actual schematic of how PW and SE are wired.

If you look at some of the Tesla app screen shots it details the power from SE as "solar" so its fair to assume that SE is wired into the Teslas solar input.

In either app there are only 2 means of power input ; grid or solar . Solar though should really be called “ everything else “ . As solar could be real PV or either battery discharging into the other ; or a mixture of both .

@pocster do you have the Tesla Backup Gateway in your system? I'm still trying to get my head around the actual hardware you've got there.

Yes I do . Obviously I don’t care about outages . Would photos of said wiring / Ct clamps help / confuse  you ?

but look ! A schematic!!!!!! 😝

Handy, but your second photo shows a SE grid limiter that's not on the schematic. They've shown the position of the PW CT but not their own. Where is the limiter in relation to everything else?

Not sure how helpful that is .

I can only see 2 CT clamps ; is that correct ?

Actually is this CT clamp on the right going no where ????

I can't tie-up those photos. But doesn't the black/white twisted pair continue up out of the top of the photo?

The black and white from the SE limiter goes up into the consumer unit on the far left ….

You seem to have so much stuff in addition to what's shown on the schematic! It really needs documenting fully. Is the Tesla CT hidden in the consumer unit perhaps? The schematic shows it between the CU and the utility meter.
