cwr Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 For connecting up the toilet in the caravan that's just arrived, there's a 90mm dia pipe coming down through the floor. Is this a standard size that a straight toilet pan connector will fit? I can find some rubber adapters online, but at around £25 seem expensive for what they are. Thanks.
Vijay Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 somethign like this which I'd imagine Toolstation or Screwfix would do to? https://skyplastics.co.uk/110-122mm-x-80-95mm-flexible-adaptor.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwz_WGBhA1EiwAUAxIcY5OPpQ1hcbGKiiqFKlBFzuZz32FVvvHwXM0VNnVskqDOllOUt5ISRoC1EwQAvD_BwE
ProDave Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Personally I would strip out what you have there right back to the pan and start with a standard pan connector and work from that.
Onoff Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 The McAlpine fittings are much better quality than the Floplast stuff. Dimns of a couple of McAlpine connectors for instance:
cwr Posted July 1, 2021 Author Posted July 1, 2021 Yes that would work, just wondering if there's a cheaper way to do it. £22.20 inc postage. Gotta save the pennies to pay for that kitchen...
wozza Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Use a rubber joint as @Vijay has pointed out - about a tenner from most places.
Onoff Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Is the toilet pan already in and the 90mm pipe comes off of it and down through the floor? If so how about this, £5.98 from Toolstation.
