Most don’t bother with a labourer Silo mixed lifted to where they are working Same with bricks Extra on the rate for detailing Quoins etc If the stamp duty holiday hadn’t been extended Things would have gone the other way
Brickie Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 What a strange figure to arrive at. Bricklayers hard to get hold of down here (West Sussex) right now. I must get a minimum of 3 calls a week from contacts looking for people.
Critical Path Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Nod - £575 a thousand is the rate here in South Manchester plus a whole host of other bits such as: Blockwork £18 m2, Insulation £3, Lintels £15 stone head and cills £11 meter, feature bands £11 lin. mt. raking cuts, pad stones, steels, Vents and sleeves, Therma bates still they include Mortar in the costs and they are my Bricklayers of choice.
