AliG
5 hours ago, Russdl said: Yep, it's @AliG that has one, perhaps he can advise on its potential to trace that drip? Wish I could help. But with that much insulation in the roof I would think the temperature is going to be very uniform. The camera would probably show the wet area as a little cooler but it wouldn’t show a small hole above 300mm of insulation. As the plasterboard is on a slope, water hitting the top of it will run down it until it finds a hole or a barrier where it gathers so it might well be that the issue is much higher up than where the drip can be seen. Mr Punter
I wonder if it can be put down to one-off madness? A house we did the customer noticed a small water mark on the ceiling after about 3 months. I got the roofers back. They unzipped the standing seam panels. No sign of damp. Insulation dry. Panels were zipped back on and 7 years later there have been no recurrences. I suspect it could have been some moisture in the structure that got in during construction and condensed out later. SteamyTea
2020's last laugh 2021. This morning, my bath tap stopped working on the cold side. Took me an hour to sort it though, so not all bad.
