Space behind a vanity.

G,day 

all the vanity units I’ve had before had doors on them, now the ones we are looking at have drawers. 

 

What sort of void space is behind the drawers to accommodate pipework. 

 

I can look up tech drawings, I just thought some of you good people might have some pictures for better ideas.

About 2 inch with a gap in the middle for waste

I saw one just last week where when you opened the top drawer, it was in fact two narrow drawers with a gap in between for the basin trap to hang down into.

Btw you can alter the drawer sizes on these on site done it myself in the past

The top draw in ours has a u shape cutout for the trap.

Top drawer of ours is missing a bit to allow for the waste. Bottom drawer had to be adapted a little.
